Education

As our first goal, our goal for education is simple. ourpride is dedicated to teaching everyone, no matter their race, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc. Our first initiative dedicated towards education was our CACLOT project. Our staff under the CACLOT & Future Projects team are always striving to educate people about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We believe education is important due to the increasing amounts of homophobia and transphobia in the world. To combat this discrimination, we aim to teach people more about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to help ease their fears and potentially make them more understanding of the community.

Outreach

As our second goal, our goal for outreach is also simple. ourpride is dedicated towards being a mutual platform for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals around the world to connect and meet. As we know from experience, being surrounded by other 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals is a surreal and great experience. Sometimes, being surrounded by other 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals also helps improve your self-confidence, self-identity, etc. We seek to encourage outreach by promoting community Discord servers, communal forums, etc.

Support

As our last goal, our goal for support is a bit different from our other goals. Because of our limited staff and training resources, we are unable to train professional level volunteer supporters. Do not use ourpride's volunteers as professional therapy and/or help. We are primarily intended to be as a "community voice," rather than professional help. If you do need help, we can help refer you to any external mental health support resources.
