ourpride, originally under the slideshow, "The Complete and Compiled 2SLGBTQIA+ ABCs & Terms," (now more commonly known as CACLOT) was founded on November 13, 2024 by psychedelicteenager, iwanfan, and HolyLlama. The original CACLOT slideshow was created on November 13th, 2024 by iwanfan. The original ideas behind the CACLOT slideshow was by HolyLlama when he saw book about pride, but it wasn't about the terms. It was about words loosely connected to pride, so HolyLlama wanted to make a better one. psychedelicteenager created a document about the idea, which predates the original slideshow by a mere 15 minutes. The motion to nominate psychedelicteenager to the CACLOT project director was completed on November 20th. From there, psychedelicteenager hand picked their project leads.
The idea to create ourpride was dreamed by psychedelicteenager on the night of November 20th. ourpride was officially founded on November 21st, 2024 on the advice of iwanfan, HolyLlama, and enternickname. The domain name www.our-pride.ca was bought by psychedelicteenager on November 25th, 2024. Development of the CACLOT dictionary was finished by psychedelicteenager at 1:38 PM, December 14th, 2024.

We are an advocacy and education organization! We serve the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and our three pillars. We are constantly striving to serve the community and our pillars. We are determined to spread awareness, educate people about the 2SLGBTQIA+ and minorities, and more!
We seek to help any small businesses, 2SLGBTQIA+ businesses, or any other organizations seeking to partner!

ourpride is a volunteer organization! You can apply to join at the application page! If you are accepted, be prepared to go through our Volunteer Training Program (VTP)! The VTP is changed to suit whatever team or department you applied for. The VTP will challenge your abilities in leadership, initiative, responsibility, and will get us a profile on your personality and traits. All of these traits are crucial to your success at ourpride!
Please note that you are volunteering at ourpride, and we are unable to give you any monetary compensation.

The world is a place with many issues. Like many Organization's are centred around, we chose one of these issues and decided to invest our time into developing the world into a more accepting place.
How do you pay for this?

Services ourpride use, such as our domain name, are fully paid out of pocket by our volunteers. All money we gain, whether it be from volunteers or donations, are strictly used for website maintenance, more costly projects, etc.
Funds are managed by the Board of Commissioners (Economic Subboard & Treasurer), and any questions related to funding can be directed to 3ourpride@gmail.com.

ourpride is based off of our three pillars: Education, Outreach, and Support. We start "projects" that are developed by our volunteers that serve to progress our goals. Many of these projects can include a list of 2SLGBTQIA+ terms, a list of mental health support providers, and more!

Due to the organizational structure of ourpride, we do not have an owner. All Commissioners, Directors, and Founders are all equally owners in their own right.
